The key areas that will be covered are finance, housing and academic. This section of the site is being updated so expect to find a lot more advice and information in the near future.
At University you may face a number of problems, both academic (e.g. wanting to charge course) and welfare (e.g. getting repairs carried out in your property). If it is your first year at University then you may feel quite isolated and unsure of who to contact for help. There are various sources of student support available both at your institution and external agencies.
Whilst academic regulations will differ between various institutions, the procedures that you need to follow will most likely be the same. The advice given is designed to enable you to be proactive in resolving your problems, by giving you advice in terms of what action you need to take and providing details of sources of support available to you.
